Holster that won't flop with handheld POS

My swing-shift section runs 12 tables and the new handheld POS keeps sliding off my belt when I bend with the tray; I need a holster or strap setup that stays put and doesn’t dig in while I’m hustling drinks and keeping comps accurate. What are you using that survives a rush without snagging chairs or guests?

Swapped the stock clip for a Tek-Lok on a vertical Kydex holster and added a short Gear Keeper retractor (RT4-4112) anchored to my belt loop — keeps the handheld from sliding when I bend with the tray and doesn’t snag chairs; link: https://www.gearkeeper.com/rt4-4112. For a 12‑table swing, set it at 1–2 o’clock with a slight forward cant; only caveat is the cord can print under a snug vest. If you’re on Toast Go or Clover Flex, I can share exact holster sizing and tweaks that’ve held up in rushes.

Horizontal carry fixed it for me: I mounted the POS holster so it rides parallel to the belt and ‘set it horizontal with a slight forward cant’ to clear the tray; the weight spreads and it stops digging when you bend. Only caveat is it eats a bit more belt real estate, but it’s been rush-proof in crowded aisles. What belt are you running — stiff nylon or leather?
